Utterly Compelled
A 2025 Fernland Studios Anthology
Fernland Studios’ inaugural anthology, charting place, attention, and ecological intimacy across ever-precarious and senses of place in flux
How do we stretch toward ourselves, our environments, and each other, from our own senses of time and place? Fernland Studios’ inaugural participant anthology gathers two years of study and place across Fernland Studios’ annual programming. Co-edited by Fernland Studios’ Co-Stewards, Zoë Gamell Brown and MaKshya Tolbert, Utterly Compelled is itself an ecology of rampant life.
