Pia Kishore Agrawal (she/her)

Pia Kishore Agrawal is Executive Director of Staten Island Arts. Prior to her work at SIA, she served as the inaugural Curator of Performing Arts at the Momentary, a multidisciplinary space for visual and performing arts, culinary experiences and an artist-in-residency program located in Bentonville, AR.

From 2014-18, she was the Program Director at the University of Houston Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts where she produced the Center’s public programming including the annual Mitchell Artist Lecture and CounterCurrent festival. Prior to her work at the Mitchell Center, Agrawal worked as the Programming Director of FringeArts (Philadelphia, PA).

She is a graduate of Haverford College with a BA in sociology. Aside from the transformative power of art, Pia’s interests include Lifetime movies; tote bags; Topo Chico; and her blind cat, Butchie.
